Gift a Memory
with All the Love You Can Bear

My business was an unexpected, inspirational gift to me from my mother. Thanksgiving of 2012, my mother was very ill, so I flew to Illinois and was able to spend a week with her before she passed away. Our family planned her burial service for December 29, so I started sewing day and night, making teddy bears from her clothing to give a gift of memory of my mom to each family member. This was my way of coping, to give joy to others, at such a sad time. I finished 28 bears in time for her burial service and handed out the bears to all 21 of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her three sons, her two sisters, my dad and a niece. Since then, I made two more, one for her brother and one for myself.

Each bear was different and had its own uniqueness. My family loved their keepsake gifts, something they could treasure forever. Once people started seeing the bears, I began to get requests to make more. So here I am a year and a half later, sewing a variety of different bears made for many reasons and occasions to cherish different memories.

When someone receives one of my bears, they are not getting just another teddy bear, they are getting lots of loving memories stitched in to the shape of a bear out of cloth or clothing that means something to the customer. Whether you are the giver or the recipient of one of these bears, you both will share All The Love You Can Bear!

Thank you Mom, for your inspiration, unconditional love and support over the years.

I’ll always love you,
